Crime is part of our nature and always will be. We created crime, we hear about it, we see it, and we commit it. How else would we have created these laws pertaining to these crimes. In the textbook it states “there is crime in all societies” For example,I had a childhood friend who grew up in nice and quiet neighborhood with a loving, caring, and a supporting family who committed murder at the age of 18 and now he’s spending the rest of his life behind bars. We have come to accept that just by living in a low income area, substance abuse and having parents or family members who have been in trouble with the law before are connected as to why people create crime, all societies have and do experience crime. Thus having crime as such a common action, one may say it is normal to have. What is seen as a crime in some societies may differ from others.
