A quick and easy appetizer recipe
containing all the foods which form a powerhouse of nutrition! Nuts contain
high antioxidants and fiber, and help lower cholesterol and prevent heart
disease. Munching on this dish will make you feel super responsible and
1/4 egg white
1 teaspoon cold
and 2 teaspoons walnut halves
and 2 teaspoons pecan halves
and 2 teaspoons whole almonds
the egg white and water with a hand mixer until the mixture becomes frothy. Add
the nuts and stir everything to coat, then drain it slightly in a colander for
the sugar and all the spices in a plastic freezer bag. Add the nut mixture and
shake everything to coat.
the wet nut mixture in a single layer on a microwave-safe plate; microwave on
high for 1 1/2 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbly. Stir everything
for another 1 1/2 minutes. Remove and stir to separate. Cool before serving.
If easier, you can
also make more of this dish in advance (just double the ingredients). Simply
store the nuts in a sealed container and eat whenever you wish!
